At that point, I got off the horse, Daisy, and I think they realized that I was distraught. I was holding on because I thought I was falling. I felt like I was coming off the saddle and was holding the banister to the stairs and was told to let go because that was pulling me off.
I became unsettled and told them I wanted to get down and not ride. I had not been on a horse in many years and was taken aback by the abruptness I felt. I was told to step up onto the stairs they have to assist with getting on the horse and then told to get on. After completing releases, I was assigned to 3 young ladies, 2 of whom may have been training, but no problem, I liked that I was the only customer on the trail ride.
I went to the office twice before a man came and was able to help me. Upon arrival, I was not sure where to go and a woman who appeared to work there, did not offer assistance, though she met my eyes many times. I made the reservation well in advance of my trip. I was looking forward to a trail ride as part of my mini get away.
